Current Suppliers

As a publicly and privately funded institution, the University of Toronto encourages supplier competition to obtain value for money, and uses a variety of procurement tools and methodologies to ensure cost-effective administration.

Approved Suppliers

Suppliers selected from open, competitive procurement processes whether led by the U of T or by other public sector entities who provide commonly used goods and services to the U of T community.

Other Collaborative Entities

As a Broader Public Sector (BPS) organization, the University can take advantage of additional collaborative arrangements through the Ontario Education Collaborative Marketplace (OECM) or the Ontario Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery (MPBSD).

Affiliated Suppliers

The University has a number of affiliated suppliers that are part of the University community and are located on campus. Purchasing low value goods and services from these suppliers can be more convenient and cost effective, and may provide other financial benefits.

Prospective Suppliers

The University of Toronto is highly decentralized, complex and diverse. Suppliers interested in doing business with the University are encouraged to refer to MERX where we post competitive procurement opportunities. The University also values collaborative sourcing events undertaken by OECM and MPBSD.
