uSOURCE Post-Deployment Optimization

May 3rd, 2017 | Posted In : uSOURCE

Following your feedback, the uSOURCE team has been working to implement system enhancements that simplify and improve the payment process for Purchase Orders below $5,000.

Goods Receipts no longer required for orders below $5,000

Effective Friday, May 5th NEW uSOURCE Purchase Orders totaling less than $5,000 before tax will not require an electronic goods receipt (GR).

Consistent with GTFM requirements, you must continue to verify the goods received match what was ordered and invoiced, as well as retain the hard copy of the receiving document/packing slip. This change to uSOURCE simplifies the order-to-pay process and will reduce the number of Purchase Orders that require manual intervention.

Note: Electronic goods receipts are still required for orders equal to, or greater than $5,000.

Process for uSOURCE orders placed before May 5th

uSOURCE orders placed before May 5th will still require an electronic GR to release payment to the supplier. We will continue to review uSOURCE for more improvements, and update you on our progress in the coming months.
