When purchasing using a CFI funding source, the Normal Discount, Educational Discount, In-Kind Contribution, and Fair Market Value must be clearly documented. uSOURCE cannot accommodate these requirements and should not be used when purchasing research-related goods using CFI funds.
Instead, quotes should be solicited using the Invitation to Quote – CFI template, and if the total procurement value is greater than $5,000, a Purchase Order should be issued in FIS.
