BMO MasterCard moving to two-factor authentication and paperless statements

Mar 2nd, 2022 | Posted In : PCard

Two Factor Authentication

As an extra layer of security, Bank of Montreal (BMO) will introduce two-factor authentication for Spend Dynamics.

Starting March 14, 2022, Spend Dynamics users will be prompted to register for two-factor authentication when logging into the system.

Users are encouraged to review the Spend Dynamics Two-Factor Authentication Guide.

For questions or support related to two-factor authentication, email purchasing.help@utoronto.ca.

Paperless Monthly Statements

Starting May 1st, 2022, BMO will no longer provide MasterCard paper statements to cardholders.

Moving to paperless has a number of benefits:

  • Reduces greenhouse gas emissions
  • Saves trees
  • Reduces risk of identity theft

Cardholders will continue to receive an email from BMO when their latest statement is ready in Spend Dynamics, with a link to access card history and download a PDF copy.

For step-by-step instructions, see this Information Library article.

Note: BMO can provide paper copies for a fee; email purchasing.help@utoronto.ca for more information.
